When We Are Young comes out, let’s make this a thing. I love the idea of this being your rainy day movie.

I’m not sure when Meg sent this to me, but I just read it and it made me feel so good. When We Are Young finally comes out I hope it’s the kind of movie that lots of people will want to watch on a rainy weekend.

LCD Soundsystem has been my writing soundtrack for two days straight now. As a result, my script goes like this: There will be essentially 3-7 pages where I repeat the same enjoyable series of words over and over. Those words eventually add more words without you noticing and together they build into something huge and exciting that somehow represents exactly how you feel or at least how you want to feel. Then just at it’s most awesome point I start over before you have even realized what’s happening. I do this about ten times and it somehow perfectly distills a moment in time. You tell all your friends about how much you love it.
